Fallout 3 and Windows 7

I recently bought an Alienware computer. It has an ATI 5970, Intel i7 920, 6 GB DDR3 ram, 1.2 TB RAID 0, 1.1 kw PSU. I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit edition. I've turned off UAC completely and edited my Fallout.ini to allow for more than one core since I'm using an i7 920. I also made it large address aware as it says here. I have all graphics completely maxed out and it works beautifully. Until I want to save. Sometimes it saves right, but not often. (Like 1/10 times)

you have alot of mods there that you are not using removing them will help

 

Mart's Mutant Mod is one of the most buggy mods out there most people only have that installed and nothing else give this program a try..

 

FOMS - Fallout Mod Sorter

 

Description

 

FOMS will arrange your Fallout 3 mod load order according to best practices, author and user recommendations, and brute force testing.

 

this also need to be installed in the main fallout 3 folder not the data folder smile.gif

Included with FOMS is an XML file of the best load order we know of for every mod we have data on. You can change this template, or make your own, but we recommend you at least start with ours for the smoothest possible experience.

 

 

I recommended that you install or update just one mod at a time to ensure that the change you made to your game works properly before making more changes. This makes it much easier to track down errors / problems with Textures or other issues.
