LordKinoda Posted January 1, 2010 Share Posted January 1, 2010 I would be interested in somebody making simple cutscenes for the various ending scenarios that can happen. Small little scenes to accompany those paragraphs at the end of the game. They wouldn't need to be voiced. Just add the text at the bottom, or just before the small scenes play. E.G. Assume you undergo the ritual with Morrigan and get her pregnant. It tells you at the end of the game that the PC searches for her but doesen't find her. The scene could show Morrigan sneaking through a small village somewhere. And show the PC at that same village asking people questions. Cut back to Morrigan sneaking out of the village and into the mountains. You could use Honnelath for the village, or the one the dragon cultists lived at. Afterall, people could move back in now with the darkspawn gone. Or assume you make Allistair king. Then youask him to free the Circle of Magi to rule themselves. A small scene could show the mages back at the tower all cleaned up with no Templars in sight. Then a shot of Irving smiling as he watches some students practicing. Little scenes like that would be pretty neat I think. One for every one of those little explanation paragraphs you get on the things that happen at the end of the game. I'm aware that there are a few variations you can cause, but there aren't an infinite amount of them. Why BioWare didn't do this is beyond me. I think it would be really great. And not too difficult to pull off. Because it requires no dialog, and not really any sound either. They'd just be small glimpses to help explain that paragraph text. Maybe it would be a little taxing if you couldn't find any pre-existing animations to make the scenes. From what I understand about the toolset anyway, which isn't a whole lot mind you ;) Hope I'm not confusing anybody here. You know what I mean right ?
