This is a compilation of mods that I use and they really enhance the quality of the game. There is still couple mods that are going to be replaced, but still this pretty much does all the mods for the game that people have been itching about.

 

The compilation comes with a easy to use installer where you can choose the mods you wan't to use. They will all work together, but you can choose to leave something out if you wan't to replace it with your own. Adding to this the mod also includes the original mods for manual install.

 

Short list of what the compilation currently does:

 

-Quest markers won't show in compass or map (user made markers won't show either).

 

-Reduced the distance at which you spot the dungeon and such

markers to 50-70 feet.

 

- Adds a portable camp that you can use for your pleasure

 

- Balances the weight of alchemy increadients, some are lighter and such

 

- Makes the UI interface better to use

 

- Makes you to level up 5 times slower, this isn't too slow and

you don't feel like constantly leveling up.

 

- Removes all the markers from the map so you have to explore for them.

After you've found them you can fast travel there.

 

- Makes the gold ingame look better and similar to the CE septims

 

- Makes the time pass 3 times slower. 1 minute is 10 minutes ingame

instead of 1 to 30 minutes.

 

- Lowers the recharge cost of magical items from 100% to 20%. By default

1 charge costs 1 gold, so 3000 charge staff would cost 3000 gold to charge

especially with higher equipment being rarer this is too much. So with the

mod this 3000 gold would cost 600 golds, Still a hefty sum.

 

- Adds 16 new classes created by bethesda that they didn't include to the game.

 

- Hunters Mod, makes hunting more profitable and funnier.

 

- Modifies some traps to actually be fatal, no longer do you live by getting paled

by the 1 meter long spike. Most common traps aren't fatal, like arrows and poison.

 

- Changes how the creatures spawn in the wilderness, some places are more dangerous

than others and you can actually see packs of wolfs and such.

 

- Adds saddle bags to most of the horses, the encumberance of the horses is limited.

You can store your items and equipment here, like the portable camp. Or

Alchemy stuff.

 

- Modified so that you will continue to see lower class monsters like skeletons

further to the game.

 

- Changes equipment rarity, no longer will common monsters like bandits wear

daedric equipment and such. Daedric can only be dropped by certain monsters

like dremoras, even then it is more rarer.

 

-Changes Scrolls names to be something more from a fantasy book

 

-Changes Clothing names to be something out of a fantasy book.

 

-Huge change to arena, you can now continue to fight after you achieve championship. This is done in really good balance.

Adding new monsters and level caps.

 

-Changes guilds so that you have to achieve rank for access to their items. Also added a guild storage for you to store items.

 

 

There might still be some bugs and if you notice anything pm me or the mods creator.

Even if savegames shouldn't be altered, just in case backup your

savegames before installation. No cases of savegame faults have

still come to my attention though.

 

You can pm me by the name mephiron on the official the elder scrolls forums, oh

and if you have better installer software.. I'd be happy to know about it.

 

Currently the mods are pretty much on just released state and full compliance

with each others isn't sure. If you notice something strange or something

that should be some other way, pm me or the mod maker if you know what

mod is in question.

 

-----------!!Installation!!----------

 

I suggest you run the uninstall.exe file of the brevious version

from the oblivion/Data folder before install. Check for brevious

savefile workings from brevious history. Although I'd recommend

to start a new char with installation.

 

Browse for your oblivion/Data directory to install the modifications.

You can select the desired modifications you wan't to install, but

selecting everything is recommended and they are tested to work

together.

 

Also there is uninstall.exe file created to oblivion/Data directory

that allows the uninstallation of the compilation.

 

Packed archive includes all the normal versions of these mods for

manual installation. This installation only allows the installation

of the mods the way I wan't them to be installed.

(with the exception of actually not installing something you don't wan't)

Modification specific readme files are usually included here.

LightIngreds v1.1 - Dyseso

LevelSlow 1.2 - Tandem (epic speed)

Marker Explore 1.0 - Tandem

Removes all your markers from the map at the beginning

so you can't actually fast travel to other cities or anything.

Once you've found a marker in a city or a cave you can then

fast travel to that location.

 

Better Gold v1.0 - Vagabond

Just replaces the ingame gold to look more like the septim that

is provided with CE.

 

TimeScale - JOG

LowRechargeCost - Huckdogg/Dumascain

cost 3000 gold to charge, now it is around 600 gold.

 

Revealed Classes v1.1 - chuckybob

Changes wilderness creature spawn rate and places where they

spawn, you can actually see packs of mobs now in certain places.

In the future will do something for guards also.

 

Saddle Bags Limited v0.91 - MaboroshiDaikon

Adds an acceccable saddle bags to horses, this version is limited

to 500 encumberance per horse.

 

No Obsolete Monsters - zelgadis

I actually made new .esp file to make changes only on monsters.

By default monster level range downwards is 8 levels. So if a rat

is a level 1 monster, when you hit lvl 9 it wouldn't spawn anymore.

This mod changes the level range to 30.

 

Rare Items v1.18 - Tom Servo

Scroll Re-Namer - Guiles

Guild Item Ownership v1.2 - Tandem

Modifies guilds so that you have to achieve rank for access to their

supplies. Also added guild storage container where you can store

your stuff.

 

Compass Marker Reducer - Darren

Reduces the view distance of POI markers, you'll see the dungeons in

compass from 50-75 feets. This way you don't need to actually stumble

on the dungeons, but can't see from 1000 meters either.

Rare Items patch. There was still some complications with

PFM's patch and some guys really wan't the leveling and stuff.

Anyways on recent versions of Tom Servo's mod it's gotten really

good and already does what I need.

 

Right now this version is good in my mind, still some fixes coming

maybe.

 

Also this shouldn't affect savegames in any way.

yes when the game prompts for changes.

This is actually done, but there is some concerns with quests

involving killing mobs at dungeons, anyways I'm happy with

current system.

 

I don't think I'll be adding any character leveling mods here, since

I don't think the balance in current such mods isn't too good.

(which is hard to achieve btw)

 

Room for plenty of good mods that add some kind of realism

without going too far and not cheat, atleast too much.

Hey, thanx for this compilation = this stuff sounds great, especially the new classes Bethesda didn't include & the hunting & setting up camp & the traps .... well, alot of it. Thanx for making it available! :D

Cool. I'll probably not use all those mods, because I actually like parts of the child-friendly user interface (:D), but the hunting mod and the makeshift camp sounds good. And the spawn alterations one, and some others ;D Cool compilation, thanks to those who contributed to it.
