FlyInMyMouth Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 Ok, I finally got Fallout 3 and installed it on WINDOWS 7 now, I want to put mods on it, but the same stupid problem keeps coming up, it only shows up as a 7zip and no its not unzipped its zipped and compresed, I cant extract or anything! funkidud3 Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 try using another program to open it, if it doesn't work tell me what happens, like is the an error message, and what does it say, does it freeze. Have you tried downloading multiple mods or just the same one, try to give more info when you post on a forum no one knows how to help you if you just say you can't do it, say why why can't you do it. What should I do? Please help this problem is frustrating! :wallbash:Start by downloading 7-zip and installing it. This should make Windows use 7zip to open 7z files. If 7-zip is unable to open the archive, the archive is likely corrupt. Please download the mod again and try again. Once you have opened the archive, look for the readme (usually a .txt file) and read the install instructions. You should also make sure to read the uninstall instructions, load order and compatibility sections if present. Follow the install instructions to the letter.
