how to speed up fallout 3

As you get further in fallout the game always slows down so i thought i should start a new topic on speeding up fallout 3 where people post how they improve the loading times and speed up the frame rate without changing the graphics.

 

in xp (not to sure what you wuld do with vista or windows 7 but there should be a similar way) if you try going into contol panel and opening Sounds and Audio Devices and then click the audio tab, then under the sound playback click advanced, thn under the speakers tab select speaker setup as none, don't worry you will still have sound

 

this improved my loading time from about 40 seconds to 10-15
