maegnuz
I have the strangest bug that don't seem to be mentioned anywhere else on the net.My pipboy local map correctly maps out the places I've been to, but then sometimes as I walk around, another part of my already explored map suddenly turns into a large black "unexplored" square. I can go there again and reexplore it, but then another part of the map will turn into a black square. Very frustrating to say the least!! This even happens inside of Megaton. Any ideas as to what can cause this? Will try a reinstall now with no mods attached and see if that works. :wallbash: Edit: Reinstalled with GotY version from a friend, and still get the same problem. Sigh. Is there really no one else out there who has experienced this?
maegnuz
Bump. Could it be an issue with my graphics card? Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 512.
JuanDeLaCruz
I've been having this problem as well. Quite frankly it's bugging me to no end. (Doesn't help with my OCD. Must... Clear... Out... The... Map... Lol.) So far I haven't found any solutions to this. Any info, suggestions, etc, would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. maegnuz
Good to know I'm not alone! Seems this is an issue with all Bethesda games, as I now get the exact same problem in Skyrim as well! And with a completely new computer! Different OS, motherboard, Graphics Card, memory etc...What the heck is going on??:(

BenderBuller
A similar problem (Fallout 3, Oblivion, Skyrim). I checked the whole Russian-language Internet - and have not found an answer. :wallbash: There is a console command "tfow". It is completely off the fog of war (in Skyrim don't work). But this is a bad decision! Somebody get us a good solution, please... :unsure:P.S. Sorry for my bad English.
