Dobbity_Doo Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 OK.... as i'm sure everybody has noticed, the weapon ranges in this game are seriously effed up. the default sniper rifle can't shoot further than what appears to be 200 yrds. LAME. I'm trying to make my own range mod, but the changed values in the newly applied esm file i made with GECK is not affecting the ranges in the least bit. I plugged in 1000000 for the range in the sniper rifle, and it still is only shooting about 200 yds. Yes, the mod is active. I'm wondering if range has something to do with the perception attribute. Is there another factor in weapon range besides simply changing the numbers through GECK? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ecksile Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 You need to edit the projectile range. Your also limited to the cell size and loading size. If you only load 200 yards then no matter what number you put the projectile will only shoot 200 yards because beyond that 200 yards nothing exists its blank space until you load more.
