mr b0b0
The human body is the most dangerous and deadly weapon. It is more precise and faster than any hand held weapon on earth. No kiddin' . ...so you are saying if you came to my house and tried to kill me, you would rather have a fist than...a desert eagle? :P uhhh... i always carry my fists with me... the d.eagle i mostly leave it at home next to my other knives, guns, rifles, RPGs, rocket launchers and weapons of mass destruction. ;D :D :) plus in oblivion hand to hand is mooore fun to play than with any weapon because of the psi. engine they implemented, u get there into the fight and it is up to you wether u hit or not. and since we all can hit with the fist, we know what it feels, thus it gives a better feeling, a more real feeling the kind of feeling that the series elder scrolls needed ;) . thanateros
Instead of making a new topic, this response more than likely goes here *fears mods*. Why not do away completely with leveling altogether? Why not make it so that the Attributes you start out with are the ones that are with you the entire game and only your skills can increase? Why not rely on the skills your character gains as a product of playing using them rather than assuming the same would be true for your character's naturally assigning physical, mental, and social qualities. If I ever get into heavy modding in the name of game fixes, this will be the first thing I try and implement. I couldn't care less about how much life/magika my character has. Leave out power gaming and emphasize how the characters use their skills over squeezing attribute bonuses out of everything. I don't care about being powerful, I only care about having fun and having the options of playing a diverse array of character skills. IMO, Beth needs to go back to the drawing board completely and really ask why the Morrowind skills as they relate to the game environment are far far superior than in Oblivion.
