acedacase
Apologies in advance if this is being posted in the wrong forum. I'm looking for a way to toggle the helms/hat graphics on and off. Similar to how in WoW there is an interface option to display/hide helm. I would have course just not wear a hat, but I'm such a stat freak I don't want to waste the helm slot. I just want to see the character I have made, instead of a helmet. Does anyone know of a mod that can achieve this? Or if I am retarded and somehow have missed an option from vanilla? Worst case scenario I may try to tackle this as my first contribution to the site if there is not already a mod in existence. Thanks in advance for any answers. ecksile
If your talking about adding an item to a hotkey. You can add items to your number hotkeyes vanilla. Go into your pipboy and press and hold any button 1-8 and click the armor/weapon u want with the mouse. When your press that number button in game (outside of pipboy) the armor or weapon will be equipped/Unequipped.
acedacase
That's not what I mean. What I want is to be able to have a helm equipped, but it not displayed. I want to keep the stats of the helm, but not have the graphic showing.
ecksile
You can make a helmet using the GECK add to it whatever stats you want then just don't give it a player mesh.
acedacase
Yeah, I could do that. But that'd be more of a temporary solution as I'd like to be able to equip any helmet and simply toggle the display of it on and off at will. Thanks for the help, though. I'll see if I can figure something out.
