Necromancist
This occurred when I had reinstalled FO3 and all the DLC's with patch 1.7 after switching my faulty 2gb Nvida GX9800 card for a 512mb ATI Radeon HD4800 card. In menus (both game menus and the Pip-boy) the cursor sometimes "jumps" some distance if I move it too fast over an item or a map marker. This only occurs in menus. I'm also noticing slight mouse lag in the main menu, but not anywhere else. I'm using a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 USB laser mouse with the latest drivers, and I've disabled vertical sync through the Fallout launcher. The mouse works perfectly in every other game I have.
DagonTheranis
Oh, computer mouse. Silly me.That can happen if you use a small computer and move the mouse too fast, so you have to move slowly.
Necromancist
What do you mean, "small computer"? My computer's not bad, if that's what you're wondering.
DagonTheranis
As in small memory space. Oblivion and Fallout take masses of memory/RAM even on a regular computer, so if your computer has less memory than usual, it'll cause problems. I had that before as well, cleared out some stuff from my task manager and it fixed right up.
Necromancist
Like what? I'm VERY "not into" computers, you'll have to explain exactly what to do beyond what's obvious X3 And I didn't have the problem before I switched the graphics card. I have 4gb of RAM.
