LiquidAurum
So I'm new to modding for W2, and there are some mods that don't have the "download for nmm' button, for those can I download manually then add them to the nmm by the "add mod from file" button in the nmm ? DrakeTheDragon
As the "Download with manager" button is by default on for all files unless specifically disabled by the mod author for some very good reasons, you likely won't have much success downloading these manually and then simply using "Add mod from file" in the NMM, as the files you downloaded still cannot be used by the NMM the way they are, or their authors won't have disabled this option to begin with. However, every mod archive, no matter its structure, can be made NMM-compatible, of course, and if it means removing all options and alternatives and streamlining the archive structure so the NMM understands it again. Or something else I've done quite a lot by now, creating proper install instructions for the NMM, so an incompatible packaging structure all of the sudden becomes compatible by me making it understand what files from which folders go where on install. A properly programmed "ModuleConfig.xml" is an incredibly powerful tool.
LiquidAurum
I've downloaded better texture enviroments and tried it like that, I see the "enviroments_level" directory in my Coocked pc folder, so does that mean by chance it worked?
