i have downloaded HGEC and installed it

but dunno if it was correct if you can tell me how i will see if i did that correct

This mod would work even without HGEC installed since it covers most of the body, but you would have texture errors on the arms. I use this mod without any problems. It's one of my favourites.

To see if you installed HGEC correctly just undress your character. You should see a marked difference in body shape and depending on whether you installed the nude or underwear version you'll be able to tell.

Keep in mind that clothing and armour mods, even for HGEC, will change the shape again according to the type of HGEC used by the author. There are many variants.

If you are sure Tona's Simple Armour is installed correctly, one reason I would think of is you're not patched to the latest for your game.

Even if the name of the mod esp shows in the launcher or OBMM etc, content will not show properly or at all in game unless you have the version 1.2 patch. Make sure you get the correct one for your region and use either the Oblivion only, or the one for SI if you have it. Not both. The latest and last patch is version 1.2.0.416.

Well, I don't see what the problem is. Tona's mods all have a meshes and textures folder plus the esp. If you've installed other mods the process is exactly the same.

I just installed Tona's Mods Store where all his mods are in one place and that works as intended. It's excellent in fact.

Inside the archives for Tona's mods is a data folder and within it are the meshes and textures folders and the esp. Make sure you either move the complete data folder to your base Oblivion directory OR move the folders inside the Data folder to your Oblivion\data directory.

Make a temporary folder somewhere on the Desktop, for example, and extract the mod into it. Then move the files where they need to go. You can then see the structure of the mod files before adding it to Oblivion.

If you're using a different body mod than specified just remember if you try using any mod for HGEC or other bodies besides Eshme's, for that matter, that have skin showing, you will have issues with textures and sometimes gaps in the meshes. Especially with the skimpier outfits. This is why the creator of particular mods specify a body mod or someone else converts it to another replacer.

Other than that it must be something you are doing because all of those mods work with no problems if installed correctly.

What is your computer's Operating System? If it's Vista maybe you need to look into mod problems with it. Bben has a help file for Vista users. Search for it if you have Vista. I use Windows XP and have no issues with mods at all, including my own mods.

Windows Xp

i installed alot of mods before , i copy the files in mesh to my Data meshes and same with textures

so no problems here , i also activate the HGEC Body with omod so i think its all correct

but i think his mods miss some files

btw i will try to download Tona Mod Store and then i will see

Really, really stupid question perhaps... are you sure the charectors you're trying to equip with the items are female/male respectively? I know it sounds daft but I can assure you certain items will not only not appear, but the corresponding body part will vanish entirely if the charector is the wrong sex. My guess would be that the base body types are different, but I can't say for sure. (For example HGEC - Roberts Male v5 or whatever) I spotted this because I edited a custom race and somehow ended up with hemaphrodites. heh heh. So I put the offending articles on a vanilla race CM partner and they worked fine. :D
