Craftyman
Hello I recently got FCOM which I think is just amazingly fun but I have a slight problem in which Ill drop to about 15-20 FPS around any cluster of about 3-5+ NPCs/creatures. I have Qarl's TP3 Redimized Installed but I had tested beforehand and I had been getting the same performance hit. I followed this guide: http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/fcominstall.html Sorry, I'm not sure how to post my full mod list from Wrye Bash or OBMM but my major mods are:-Shivering Isles-Knights of the Nine-UOP-UOMP-and unofficial shivering isles patch-FCOM and OOO, Fran's, MMM Warcry and Bob's-Qarl's TP3 Redimized-Real Lights-Enayla's better faces mod-Oscar's Nicer Grasses-Oblivion stutter remover-Streamline Edit: forgot system specs Q6600 2.4Ghz4Gb RAM8800GTX @ StockVista 32-bitX-fi Xtremegamer Soundcard

Maigrets
Your problem may stem from the foot sounds of creatures which can affect performance even on high end computers. The more creatures on screen at one time the worse the problem can be and with FCOM there will be a lot. You don't get it with vanilla Oblivion because there are hardly enough creatures to have an adverse effect. Do you have an onboard sound card? If so, you could try Quiet Feet Max which adds dummy sound files to the creatures and reduces the load on the system.http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12331 It's all explained in the description and has support for SI and the DLC's. From the Readme:Quiet Feet MAX 2.0 fixes the horrible stuttering when people ride a horse or fightcertain enemies (e.g. wolves). This is because characters in the game havedistinct sound effects that play when each foot hits the ground, which meanscharacters with more feet put more pressure on your system. Many systems can'thandle this.
