MooImATiger
In a TUT i read it sais that when editing a texture in GIMP the Image will also be changing in NifSkope, but mine doesnt do that. The Texture path is set to where i have all my textures, because any other folders everything is white on the Nif im editing. Im not going to save it but right now im working on Leyawinn cuirass and nothing is changing in the NifSkope window. I have GIMP 2.8 i think, is there anything wrong with what im doing? is there something im forgetting? Is there another version of NifSkope? Advanced retexturers please help me. Unavi
You must save the texture in Gimp to see it change and ofc the texture path must be of the new texture you're editing. If you have this all set and it still doesn't work maybe you changed the size of your texture without noticing. Check if it is a multiple of 256 pixels (for both x and y). It happens very often to me.
MooImATiger
-EDIT- NVM i found out how to do this. i have to backup the main .dds but then save over the main. Thanks for that, but when i put it into my game it doesnt show it on my character. witch is wierd. EX. Say im making a Blue Daedric Helmet, i edit the .dss, it shows it in NifSKope, i save the nif. i put the Nif on a file in the TESCS. but then the color is not in my game? is there more than 1 .dds i need to play with?
