JPZ1987
I am reinstalling Fallout 3 and decided this is a question I should solve before starting my new game. I have heard that it is possible to play DLC without using Windows LIVE. I had to use LIVE to play Op Anchorage back when it came out last year. I don't want to have to do that anymore because the necessity of LIVE prevents me from using mods that require FOSE, and I have been very curious about those ones. I heard that it's possible to load the DLC you have purchased as an .esm file. How does one do this? Thanks in advance.
WoogieMonster
You have to go into the Live folder (which is a hidden folder by default) and find the DLCs. Cut and paste them into you Fallout 3 Data folder and then activate them as if they are mods. Sorry I can not remember the exact file path to get directly to the DLCs in the Live folder, but its easy to locate the path if you google it. Alternatively, when you install FOMM, it checks for DLCs and will cut/paste them for you, but in some cases it does not get them all.
