Alithinos
Without telling someone from my party <like Fawks> to stand and wait at a place, they actually disappear.I lost the first afroamerican lady that joined me at the Citadel, when Enclave captured me.Now,after Fawks joined me,and we fixed the purifier, and I wake up back to the Citadel, after the chief of the Citadel speaks to me,I go outside to go where he told me,but when I opened the door,no Fawks appeared outside!I opened the door and entered in again, but he was gone!I lost him!Did I do something wrong ?Or are they supposed to disappear ? I play the GOTY edition, and it's my first playthrough.

RdA
Hmm, a funny thing occurred when I played Fallout 3 on PS3 (I know consoles are not discussed here, but it's just a story). After taking the "Operation: Anchorage" quest if Charon (a ghoul from Underground) is in your party he stays outside the Outpost (maybe waits, I dunno... in my case he was wearing an Outcast armor, so he had nothing to be scared of. But he stayed outside). When I completed the virtual quest and got out of the Sim (and took all interesting things from the Vault, of course) and after all went outside, Charon wasn't there. After a few seconds a message "Charon has died" appeared. The supermutants have respawned in this area and shot him to death. Where? No answer. I tried to load game before getting into Sim and go out. He was in a building nearby, standing on the 3rd floor (there was no way there), absolutely useless and silent. I tried to get there and talk to him but no result - I just could not get to the 3rd floor. Ноw did he get there? Maybe it's a PS3 bug? :) So I could do nothing and had to leave him there :) And once when I played PC version (without any companions) after completing the same quest I went to the armory for my reward. That time I could not take all things with me (low strength), but I didn't need it as it turned to be - suddenly the Outcasts started to kill each other! And they tried to kill me - I dunno why :) I went into hiding and when there were a few Outcasts left, I simply shot them from my Laser Rifle. So I could return to the Outpost for looting whenever I wanted. What happened to them? Greed? :)
loopz
After completing the Anchorage quests and being granted access to the armory, Defender Sibley argues with Protector McGraw about how he's letting you take whatever you want. Apparently Sibley is a bit butthurt that it's 'not fair', so he and his cronies attack McGraw and Specialist Olin (the female that gave you the neural suit). If you manage to kill them all (minus McGraw and Olin) they say you're welcome here any time, and you're a friend of the Outcasts, etc...
RdA
Oh.. looks like I missed a lot of important information :wallbash:
RdA
So the Outcasts can be friendly too  I thought they're too arrogant for this.
loopz
"Friendly" is a loose term. They still think you're unevolved scum, it's just that they're thankful for your scummy help. :) "Shouldn't you be off somewhere banging rocks, local?" RdA
That's why I never liked them  they're worse than Brotherhood with their "high goals".
