TenthLegion
When i downloaded better cities mod it made bruma have double doors on some of the houses and buildings including olav's tap and tack, so i disabled them (the 2nd doors, not the ones attached to the buildings themselves). I was still able to use the buildings at this point. However, i deactivated the better cities mods bc it wasnt in my taste and it made so many problems for me. I was still able to use the bruma buildings p until recently. There are no knobs on the doors and i can pass right through them and i cant activate them or anything. They just look like planks of wood on a boarded up house, I was wondering how i can get the doors i lost reenabled. They all work when i reactivate better cities mod, but i really dont wanna use that mod so any help is very very very appreciated.
bben46
When you deactivate an esp in the data list it really does NOT uninstall anything. It just will no longer load the esp on starting. ALL of the textures and meshes are still there in the data folder. And they can cause problems (as you found out) Look in the texture and mesh folders and see if you can find the better cities folders inside of them. Remove those folders only. This is why I recommend using the OMODs from OBMM to install - and uninstall mods. OMODS completely remove all of the textures, meshes and everything else when you deactivate the OMOD. And keeps them ready to reinstall if you want them again.

Now I use OMOD whenever possible (if they come with OMOD scripts, still to nervous about making OMODS on my own), especially on the large mods, COBL, MMM, UOP, UOMP, USIP, Darified UI, etc. Saves alot of headaches in the end, usually.
