*pokes topic description* How do I make 'em? Print screen doesn't work, or at least not on my pc.

What is the easiest way to make screenshots? :blush:

you have to change the .ini (MyDocuments/MyGames/Oblivion) and search for the line

bAllowScreenshots=0

Then you change the 0 to 1

bAllowScreenshots=1

Then you can make screenshots by pressing print

They get saved in your data folder!

Another method is to use Fraps

If you're not using FRAPS then you may also need to turn off antialiasing.

after doing the ini file edit, as ptb said if you still cant screenshot, (by pressing the prtscn button) then turn off the antialiasing in the oblivion video settings. you may have to restart your game.

 

nnote that this is due to some NVIDIA video cards which cant take shots while doing AA

There's a whole topic pinned up here dedicated solely to this. Puppy eyes aren't really perceptive, no? :) I think every possible problem is discussed there already.

Works on mine (GeForce GTX 260M build into this laptop) just fine, even forcing Oblivion into HDR+AA mode. Also, I tend to run Picasa in the background, this can take the screen shots for you as well when you press the "Print Screen" button.
