EnterName
I recently got into modding and making my own scripts in an attempt to make brass knuckles to fight with. However, many of the script functions (listed on the TES Wiki) I knew I wanted to use were only available with OBSE. I installed it manually, plugging those four files into the same folder as my Oblivion Launcher. So far, I can run the game with it just fine. However, I want to open TES CS with it, and I can't figure it out. I've seen two methods: use command prompt (and that one is poorly explained (using identical words) on every site I check), or alter the path directory of a CS shortcut to point to "...Oblivion\obse_loader -editor," which doesn't work because I get an error just trying to save the shortcut destination saying something along the lines of "that path doesn't exist." Can anyone give me a detailed-as-heck explanation on how I can use OBSE to run the CS so I can use script functions not ordinarily available in TES CS? I have Oblivion updated to the most recent version, I have tried both CS 1.2 (shivering Isles) and CS 1.0, and I have the unofficial patch. Thank you for any help you can offer, I really appreciate it.
Pronam
No you've got to past it AFTER the ""s .So it would be ....obse_loader" -editorThat's all :).Just create a shortcut of the obse launcher, then use -editor behind the shortcut-link. Just not inside of it.
EnterName
Wow. I thought I tried that, but I guess not. Operation face-palm is a go. http://craigswinejourney.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/facepalm.jpg Okay, thanks for the help. I owe you one, big time. Now then, I have some heads to crack open with some brass-friggan'-knuckles!
