Changing an NPC's Race

Okay... I recently created dwarves in the TES Construction Editor and everything is working fine... With one exception... They have a "I Have No Greeting" text that pops up when I try to speak to him, I check his dialogue and everything is there with the exception of his greeting... I try to right click to add a topic but to no avail... How can I give him a greeting? It only happens when I change the race of a character.

So the CS crashes every time? Or do you add a topic and he won't say the lines? Or does the mod fail to save? You are working from the "Topics" tab instead of the "Conversation" tab aren't you?

 

I would think that if you created a new quest and added the GREETING topic to it and wrote some dialog infos with the condition that only your NPC would say them, then he would be saying something other than, "I HAVE NO GREETING!"
