jambah Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 I can't get any of my mods to work in the game, but I can load them all and get them to work etc. in the CS. I recently started using a no-dvd crack because I "lost" (long story..) my Oblivion dvd. theuseless Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 the no-cd cracks and other such software are generally flawed. Most are incomplete, have viruses or are re-written in a different way. Stay away from such software. I would reccomend buying the game used via ebay, then get a program called power iso. It will make a burn of the game completely. You can then archive your original disk and play from your copy. I use this method for personal use only and in no way condone digital piracy. People worked hard to make the game function (even as little as it does). Other people had to invest into the project. All parties involved deserve their fair compensation. I'm not sure if you are referring to a pirated copy or not, but if you are you should remove your post quickly (or edit it). In the future, you don't need the no dvd crack. Ive found my oblivion runs faster and longer on my computer when loaded from my hard drive into a virtual drive with power iso. Theuseless already said it probably does. It's a bad idea in any case. Go back to the original .exe and (if you haven't already) download the appropriate latest official patch. No Obi ESM or an altered one = No Mods, as Oblivion ESM is a requirement for every mod out there. They all gotta start somewhere, and thats where they start. Forget steam and Ebay though. Go to your local second hand game shop. Gamestation in the UK have Oblivion for like £6 so no 2 year download (gotta love Steams DL servers. :| Not. ) and no chance of getting a dodgy disk.
