HorriblePig
So yeah methinks it would be awesome to have a full squadful of followers all wearing the same uniform/armor. Then I started thinking about it and figured it would be even More awesome to have Replaceable followers so that when your other minions die you could just summon more!(insert evil laugh here) And then you could just sweep through the wastes! So to manage your minions you'd need some kind of a base and maybe a reasonable idea where they actually come from instead of just popping out of nowhere. I was thinking either a cloning facility or something like that, but meh, anything goes. I think it also would be cool if the player could actually come to Own this facility/special vault?/something?Thought about it some more and I figured that since if it's going to be a base it might as well have it's own ammo press! After-all scavenging can be pretty tiring for 20 (or even More?) I'm seriously just throwing ideas around so many things might/might not be do-able... For the technical side: I was thinking a system like in Operation Anchorage, where you could just click what kind a follower you wanted for each unit slot. (But maybe a bit more advanced, though, like choosing specialization in certain skills or that kinda thing (probably too hard to squeeze in)) All your "units" would spawn without any equipment but maybe vault-suit type of clothing. Wouldn't it be awesome if your minions would also "try" to take care of themselves? Apart from you supplying ammo via , they would scavenge ammo for the weapon they have equipped! Though I think that would be too much to ask wouldn't it.. Oh and of course you could easily heal them by engaging dialog and giving them stims there. So that's what I had in mind! There's of course a lot of unmentioned stuff still in my head about this but I think if anyone gets interested they'll be thinking along the same lines as me. Thanks for reading!
