One quick question about borderlands

hey! i have one quick question about borderlands. i played threw borderlands with two other people the first time my good friend giveadont and my older brother in Iraq. and i played brick my bro played Roland and giveadont played Mordecai. and it turns out my little bro might be able to play with us online soon and i was wondering is it possible to play two of the same characters. because i dont want to have to stick my little bro with that dumb ass broad.
