Basically means you're using a multiple of esp-files at the same time? Are you sure what you're doing?

You can't easily 'combine' stuff from other mods to create your own, an having a lot of different form-ids at the time or very large mods/intensive textures can make CS unstable.

My copy of the CS loves to crash when I am merging parts of mods. Sometimes it is basically impossible and I have to give up. I have been known to take a copy of a mod, and delete (ignore) 98% of it so I can build around that 2% I wanted to graft onto another mod. Sometimes if I do this, the little 2% mod becomes something that can easily be merged with other mods. I think the CS hates merging mods with scripts and things which do not stand alone but depend upon other things.

I never use the same objects in my own personal mods as the mods where this objects originally belongs. But checking several esps makes it hell of a lot easier to copypaste things, (but create new editor ids), and then do the tweaks i want. I suppose the editor ids is the problem
