Crashing after Bethesda logo

Hi!

I'm new to modding, and I just followed a list of mods that was suggested here:

I played around trying to clean files with TES5Edit, but only following the guide (i did this after the game crashed, trying to fix it)

 

Now most of the errors from the BOSS log is gone, but it still crashes.

myself being nowhere near expert, i can't see any issues with the boss list. have you uninstalled anything? sometimes it can happen (and has to me frequently) upon removal of some mods, if you have uninstalled something it'd be a good idea to check the mod page for that one and see if there's any specific uninstall procedure e.g disabling the mod first via mcm menu or console command.

No i don't think i have.

I have only been loading in mods. It's a fresh game install. I knew it was working before starting to mod it though.

You are able to load your entire load order with TES5Edit?

Hmm. Dont know. How do i do that? Just mark them all and load into the next window i guess?

You need to install that file, then. The Weather Patch requires it.

What file exactly? I thought I had everything...

 

Is that really enough for the whole thing to crash?

CoT-WeatherPatch_DB.esp requires ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp, one of its 'master' files. Without it, the game will crash. So, you need to install the CoT Dragonborn patch. =) It's there right at the end of the TES5Edit log.

Thanks jeir. That fixed it.

 

But now the game just closes to desktop when creating character appearance. :-/
