Vladesic
Hi. First off im going to say I'm new to the forums, though I've played oblivion and have been modding for about a month now. I'm having a problem with the curse of the consumed you get as one of the stages in retrieving the guantlets from the chapel with the kotn. It's a constant fatigue drain ( which is getting to be a real downer, since I can't fight without ending up on my face), and I read on the wiki that it's supposed to fade away after you have the guantlets and have returned to the priory. It hasn't... :wallbash: If anyone knows what I have to do to get rid of it, any replies would be great. I don't know of any console commands that would remove it. :thanks:
Pronam
Welcome to the nexusforums, Vladesic. It won't, but I think you should get a buff to compensate it. Weren't they on the gauntlets themselves? Or when you had the whole suit on at the end? Look into that. And yes, it's possible to get rid of via the console but that isn't always wise to do. I'll check the UESP Wiki.--Checking there it's best to follow the quests, eventually it'll go away after you're close to the end. So have a little patience, but don't worry it will! The exact time it'll go is this, but I've hidden it as it's a spoiler..don't read it if you don't want to : "The only way to rid yourself of the curse is to continue with the quest line: upon receiving the The Blessing of Talos, the curse will be removed." I'll ask for a move to the spoiler forum, it'll fit better there.
Vladesic
That is good to know. Gives me more incentive to finish the kotn storyline. Thanks for the welcome, and the reply. Helps me out a ton, and makes me not think that im going to be running around falling on my arse everytime I get in a fight
