FMod
You can get a solid working Video Card for $50. It won't max anything, but it can get by.At $1,000 you'll probably be looking at i5-4690K, which has graphics built in. So what can you get for $50... uh... that buys you a GT620, well, maybe GT630 for like $60 with a $10 rebate card.GT620 is slower than HD4600 you get for free with an i5 and GT630 is like 15% faster. You're telling me that integrated graphics is better than something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102882&cm_re=radeon_hd-_-14-102-882-_-Product

Integrated graphics are even better feature-wise.

FMod
It's the same on Windows. I could dig up several benchmarks and use "A>B>C => A>C" logic to prove a point, but icba to. They're not even comparable, Haswell's integrated graphics is way ahead.
