Do you ever use oblivion as a stress reliever?

Sitting down and both you and your avatar having a break is subtly the most underused relief in a game filled with swords, bows, spells flying everywhere, giant rats... most people don't give their character enough aknowledgement and relief. Its good to enjoy a seldom moment enjoying what Oblivion has to offer.

I do have those kind of moments when I just feel the need to relax a little and watch the beautiful views.

Here is one of those moments.

And here I thought this was gonna be innappropriate... o_O

Anyways... I use all games as stress relievers, but as far as enjoying the scenery goes... not ussually (Though when I got my new video card I spent time looking at everything).

In Star Wars: Galaxies (SWG), a crappy MMO that I played for a year in a half, I spent alot of time just looking at the endless Copy-Pasted scenery that went on forever... just because it was Star Wars and I was glad to be in it.

There are a few places that are truly amazing to look at. Dive Rock has a clear lead

over many others, but the anvil lighthouse is an excellent place too (the upstairs of

course). The best views are high up, so I like to get my acrobatics as high as possible

and climb into places that I probably shouldn't be able to to look around.

However, I also usually alleviate stress by doing odd things. There's an Argonian in Leyawiin

that talks about how he breaks into a house, steals things, and then places them all in

barrels inside the house. He gave me a bit of an idea.

It's not exactly non-violent, but a lot of the places I go to end up with bodies cluttering

the streets for some reason (Who can say?) so I like to clean up (Skingrad especially) by moving the

bodies into nearby open barrels. Honestly, I've spent more time doing that then it took

me to do the main quest.

Does a duck have a bill? lol I sure do. When I first started playing the first clear night I was outside, took my breath away. It was so beautiful.

I love walking in the waving grasses, seeing the pretty trees and flowers. I have a mod that adds a new song or two. One is a Celtic sounding piece that is so calming. The beauty of the Oblivion world was/is one of the things that keeps me there instead of in Fallout3, lol

I like moon pics, here's one of my favs.
