Sarcasm
Hi, I'm creating a merged patch for my game, which is long and arduous. However I'm still something of a newbie with FNVEdit and feel like I need clarification on something in FNVEdit. If a record is edited only by the vanilla FalloutNV.esm, and is blank in other .esp's, is it necessary for me to drag it into my merged patch? This screenshot illustrates my question. Basically, if I do not drag and drop these two references into my merged patch, then there are no conflicts. If I do drag and drop into my merged patch, it creates a conflict. What do I do here? Not dragging and dropping and removing the references that are automatically put into the merged patch when it is copied as an override resolves conflicts. But I'm not sure if my goal should be to get everything into my merged patch .esp, or to get all references yellow with no conflicts. Any help would be thankworthy. RoyBatterian
It depends. In this case I think MoMod has decided to replace the leveled list entirely with it's own. You can merge them if you like but it may create unintended results.
Sarcasm
I see, so would it be best to click and drag and create a conflict, or remove the second entry to solve all conflicts?
RoyBatterian
Drag the MoMod Wasteland Edition column over, not the other two. Or since that mod loads last and "wins" the conflict, you can just remove the formid from the merged patched.
