Creation Kit Stopped Working

Creation kit is crashing (stopped working) every time in this stage. What should i do?

 

P.S.: I have no DLC.

Try to verify the file integrity of both Skyrim and CK with Steam. Might be a problem there.

The creation kit is a little special. It does this sometimes, espeically if you're working on a big mod. Just shut it down and reload it.

grrr, all the crap we've gotta put with, is there no fix to this s#*!? trying to update a mod here and it won't let me in

Hey, guys, I've tried everything and I can't get the creation kit to start. Things I've tried:

 

adding bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 and bAllowMultipleMasterFiles=1

uninstalling and reinstalling

adding the dlcs to the end of the SResourceArchive2 list

adding sLanguageENGLISH

verifying integrity of tool files

None of this works, I always get an error popup. Clicking any option causes the creation kit to stop working. Is there anything else I can do? I'm at the end of my rope, I've searched google and I can't find a fix. Thanks in advance, guys.

Try turning off sound for the Creation Kit in the editor ini file. Most mods don't need sound and leaving the audio system turned on has been known to cause issues on some systems when trying to run the CK.

 

SkyrimEditor.ini (in your main Skyrim directory)

 

[Audio]

bEnableAudio=1 (change to 0)
