Freezing all the time

Recommended Posts

Hey guys the game freezes all the time. I have the Ultimate Edition and barely any mods. Sometimes it freezes during gameplay, but mostly when going into different buildings in the Strip and at Hoover Dam. I have a good PC which is more than capable of running it. I'm not even that far into the game. A few NCR quests and one or two normal quests. When I view the plugins in the FalloutNV folder, it come up with two FalloutNV.esms, one with an upper case 'F' one with a lower case so I delete the one with lower case and save it but it comes up again the next time. Load order in spoiler. Thanks for the help.

Which mods are you running? I have found from my own experience that some mods on Nexus were written quite a while back. Nothing wrong with the mods but some are not compatible with a more current updated version of the game. Try to disable one of the older mods (check where you downloaded it and it should give a date when it was posted/udpaded) and then restart the game. If that doesn't work then disable the next one and so on until the game will run okay. Once you have done that you can enable mods one at a time and restart after each enable until you find the one or ones that are not compatible. This is from my own experience but no guarentee it would work for you.
