Titanius wakes up again, tied upsidedown. "HEY!!! Let... me... DOWN!!" He starts struggling against the ropes, until he pops his neck hard. "Ow." He resumes hanging helplessly, and tries to take a nap, when suddenly someone cuts the ropes. "WHAT THE, ungh!" He lands painfully on the ground. He looks around to find who unbound him, but the person has already left.

OOC No, u misunderstood Lord of Cheese, i'm not angry or anything. Although I do think the 'game master' should lay down some laws 'bout combat posting.

Jack worked with great speed, he had decided his best chance of escape was to use the element of surprise. He lashed the tough vine walls of the Elven tree house, while at the same time hurridly using the equipment in his tinder box to get a flame going. Finally he lashed through one of the vines and squeezed out of his prison. As he ran along the giant branch walkways of this Ayleid city he put small wicks made of bits of wood and plants into the tops of the two bottles of ale he had with him.

Jack heard the whizz of arrows and found the settlement had been alerted. He took an arrow in the arm. He instictively ducked, before lighting the bottles and throwing them at two of the treehouses. He knew fire sent the Ayleid into a frenzy. Elves were running around everywhere shouting 'Zila! Zila!' (the woodelven word for fire.) The fire so terrified them they began shooting arrows at everyone they saw, an insitincive response. Soon the air was thick with flaming arrows as the fire spread through the trees. Jack was not doing much better than the Elves, as he was running like a madman trying to find a way down. He passed another man tied up in bonds. It was Titanius, the man Jack had talked to in the tavern. Jack cut his bonds as he passed but did not stop.

By this time Jack realized he probably had seconds to live if he did not do somthing. He left from the branch platform and grabbed a hanging vine. As he swung; the vine wrapped itself around a large tree. Jack smacked into one of the large jungle trees and scratched and scraped himself against it as he fell awkwardly to the forest fall.

He layed there for a second quite stunned, and aching all over. He tugged the arrow out of his arm - it had not gone in far - and looked up into the Aylied camp. He chuckled as he realized he still had it. He had escaped his enemies without casting a single fatal blow. He then pulled himself up and began to run aimlessly into the forest, unsure of his direction but feeling the need to escape.

as the mer reached the edge of the forest, he realized that he no longer knew the way to his former home...he decided his mind must be playing tricks, being kept up in that deplorable place, so he chose to rest.....waking up at dawn he went back into the woods to hunt for some diner. suddenly he stopped, nearby a figure was running at fullspeed towards the edge of the forest. the mer slowly crept closer to the direction of the figure, making sure to keep covered by the brush...

Titanius steps outside, and sees Jack running for his life. He quickly grabs his armor and weapons, lying on a bench near one of the houses "Owch. Thanks Jack. What mess have I gotten into?" Titanius ducks as an arrow passes over his head.

Another arrow thunks into the tree next to him. "or maybe I'll get down." A flaming arrow flies where his head was a second ago.

He picks up an arrow, fits it into his bow, and fires it into the distance without looking.

A volley of arrows peppers the forest near him.

Jack ran until he was five miles from the camp. He sat on a log, breathless and aching, and drank some cool water from a forest stream. He then searched his pockets and sack for the possesions he had left. It was precious little, the Elves had taken most off his things. He had his small knife, a half loaf of bread, a small bottle of flin, 70 pieces of gold and some small personal items.

Jack washed his face in the stream and then tied back his hair again in a respectable fashion. He had made up his mind what to do. Firstly he would settle his score with the mer who had robbed him. Then he may try to find the track of the hooded traveler. After that he would head to Orcrest, the Elswyr capitol, it was time for some more high class banditry.

At present he was unsure of his direction, but he assume the mer would have tried to leave the forest, if he could find his trail he could settle his score.

suddenly a thought crossed the mer's mind, wouldnt the stranger be angry at his betrayal? after thinking this it made him proud to realize the motivations of another figure. slowly he sulked away from the area careful not to leave the slightest trail...unfortunately he was very unskilled in this area, which had lead to his previous capture...so the trail could be followed by even the most inadept hunter...yet in his mind, the mer couldnt be followed.

at the very edge of the forest the mer decided to partake in his ritual he did ever othernight... he made a small incision on his forearm, just deep enough to draw blood, slowly he worked the blood in a ritualistic manner over his body...

"this sacred protection of Adhklgnssang will protect me from anything..."

OOC: if you cant tell hes crazy....

Jack darted between the trees, he had found the mer's trail, it was incredibly obvious. He new he could catch up with the mer as he was probably walking and Jack was running like crazy.

Suddenly, he stopped, shocked. Lying in a burnt out clearing was the hooded stranger. He lay there as if paraylsed by fear and dying, but Jack could see few wounds. Jack moved closer and the man cried out:

"Lost, all is lost, help me, help us all"

The man was not making much sense.

Jack, driven by compassion offered the man some of his drink

"no no" he said, but Jack forced it down him.

"What is lost?" said Jack

"I am", said the man, "you are too... Jack, we all are lost, they will come"

"who will come friend?" said Jack

"Leave me, Leave me, they will not tell." he said.

Jack was getting confused and fustrated at this point

"Look just tell me what your're talking about, come on!" said Jack

"They are old... They are coming." Said the man

Jack tried to lift him,

" NO LEAVE ME .... Pain, the wound in my chest *cough* *cough*

The man said no more....

Jack stood up, he looked at the mans chest and found a small wound there, but not enough to kill, this had puzzled Jack highly, and he was intriuged. Jack knew that anything that could drive that man to such fear must be unimagiinable. It was said that man had actually mocked giants.

Well whatever was going on, Jack still had a score to settle, he removed his cloak and laid it over the dead man as a mark of respect, he then resumed his hunt.

upon finishing his psychotic ritual, the mer decided to leave a riddle for jack, that he would never find, but hey....it would be fun... so with jack's short sword, he etched into the tree, "Jack, guess what? Here's Jonny!! If your reading this your NOT, cause i cant be followed, IM INVINISIBLE!!!!!" after finishing this he through ths sword on the ground and then did a small dance then he fell alseep at the foot of the carved tree....

OOC Lord of Cheese, r u, u know, ok phychologicly? Lol, cool this is getting more and more crazy!

Jack was swiftly following the trail of his prey when, best of luck, he found his precious dagger, he lifted it gently and looked at it for damaged. This weapon was special to him, he had got it in Avakir of all places. It was a silver katana and had Avakiri engravings of snakes on the hilt and a long, sharp blade.

There was an unusual tree next to it, something was wrong with the bark. He assumed it was some sort of trick of the light. He got some water from a muddy pool, and mixed it with the minerally soil to produce a light, red liquid. He threw this all over the side of the tree, revealing the message.

Jack sighed, 'who would have thought this land of the Kajiit would be so strange'?

Jack then heard a noise, he looked up and saw leaves kicking up by themselves. 'Ah', thought Jack, 'my prey'....
