Nexus Mod Manager not working after Windows 8.1 update?

Nexus Mod Manager was working fine when my OS was Windows 8, but when i upgraded to Windows 8.1 it stopped working, so i uninstalled NMM and Oblivion and re-installed both, Oblivion works fine and so does NMM but when i go to download any mod what says DOWNLOAD (NMM) it just doesn't go into my download area in NMM, like it doesn't even receive anything, i have logged into both Nexus's web page and NMM and it is the correct version, i have also tried running NMM as an administrator, it still doesn't work.

 

Any help or possible solutions would be very helpful.

This has already been beat to death in the NMM forums - as it is an NMM problem and has nothing to do with Oblivion.

 

Currently, MS Windows8.1 and Chrome are not playing well together. Neither MS nor Google wants to admit it's their fault. If we do anything to fix it then when they do actually fix it - it will break it again here. :pinch:

 

Best solution, use a different browser for now - Both IE and Firefox work well with Win8.1 :thumbsup:
