Blockhead Horse Crash

I've noticed that when I try to load a save game in which I am sitting atop a horse (any horse) while I have blockhead installed, the game will load the save completely, only to crash to desktop before actually starting it up. I have tested the problem without blockhead installed, and with that being the only change, I am able to load up the save game and play no problem. If I load up a save game in which I am standing right next to the horse, and blockhead is installed, it too will start up with no problem. So for some reason, blockhead really doesn't like to start up save games in which horses are being sat on. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar problem, if I have somehow installed blockhead wrong, or otherwise done something else with blockhead that is entirely wrong, and if there is a way to fix this problem. I realize it's not that hard to pop off my horse just before saving, but I was raised in a land of convenience, and I really would like to not have to bother. Cheers!

As far as I am informed, which isn't really much considering I'm out of date with the latest mod developments for 2 years now and only slowly catching up again, Blockhead's developer and followers of the mod's/tool's comments as well as Nuska and followers of Oblivion Character Overhaul are already aware of this issue, and I think it's even being worked on, but I'm not sure about that latter point.

 

For what it's worth, even "I" know of Blockhead crashing when loading a save made while riding on a horse, and that's telling something. At this point it can be considered a 'known issue', really.

As for when it's probably going to be fixed, or if it even was fixed already maybe, this can only be answered by following the mod's/tool's comments, more regularly than I am, as I only visited it shortly for installation instructions and such when I installed it in my game a while ago.

 

For now, just disembark your horse every time before saving the game. It will be fixed eventually I'm sure.
