Mmh i hope this is the right place to post...

 

I am temporarily working on a mod that allows a job system. i tried some things already and it seems to work.

Old classes are completely disabled and you can select a class type from the class selection screen.

And these classes are starting from a standard level.

After that you reach LV 25 you will have the choice to pick one of three possible job types that give diferent bonuses and skills

(btw. the job selection screen contains custom pictures).

These jobs receive a stat, skill bonus and some new exclusive abilities.

This all happens either through a message receiving after taking some sleep or trhough a job master.

 

Why I make this thread? Well... i want to hear your opinion. Or maybe even ideas what may be a part of this class system. I already have many many ideas but maybe you have some additional ideas that make this complete :)

 

At the moment i have 6 standard class types selectable.

 

Example:

 

Knight -> Dragonknight / Chevalier / Royal Knight

Archer -> Hunter / Sniper / Ranger

Rogue -> Villain / Robberbaron / Thief

Assassin -> Shadow Assassin / Shinobi (m) - Kunoichi (w) / Saboteur

Magician -> Battlemage / Arc Mage / Wizard

Merchant -> Patrician / Alchemist / Blacksmith

 

Well... I am not sure about this 3 way selection class. What do you think?

either making it 2 classes?

For those who want to know: I am talkign about bonuses... for example a assassin will be given a exclusive set of equipment only available for him and bonuses on sneaking ;> And of course Poison Skills.

 

By the way. When this mod will be finished you may exchange the chars pictures from job select menu and class names suit to your gender.

Example: Ninjas - female = Kunoichi, male = Shinobi

Though i will need to request the use of some special mods from their makers to realize this mod.

 

For example Haroks Arrow mod (Archer Cls making own arrows).

 

 

Wedding thing: well thinking about making in addition a wedding mod with wedding rings giving special abilities. Also related to a very small quest and related to the CM partners and the Friends and lovers system. What do you think? nonsense or possible? I found already some nice wedding equipment XD
