Load Order Confusion

I hope this is the right place to post this. Could someone help me with Mod Load Orders please? I'll show you what I currently have installed. This is after running Auto Sort with Boss through TES Mod Manager for Oblivion.

I'll attach a Notepad file as copying thefle from Notepad didn't work as required.

I hope I've given you enough information, and someone can help me.

Thanks.Active Mod Files:

What mod manager are you using? Is it OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager)? And are you using LOOT instead of BOSS. I have never ever had a problem with BOSS sorting load order. But yours is all wonky and isn't even close to correct. I have seen a lot of comments about LOOT messing up load orders, although I have never tried LOOT myself. From what I can see on your load order list you have master files out of place with files that depend on them and the text is telling you that. Look at the areas in your load order where the text says "Delinquent Master". Example:

02 Children Shivering Isles.esm

-----> Delinquent Master: Children.esm

03 Children.esm

So you have the master file installed, it just needs to be loaded above the file which depends on it as a resource. If your sorting tool isn't doing this properly then manually move "Children.esm" to a position just above "Children Shivering Isles.esm". Then go through and do the same thing with the rest of your Delinquent Master warnings. That will mostly fix things...although I see other load positions that just don't look right compared to my load order.

I went through the whole thing, and sorted it as best as possible using Oblivion Load Order Manager. Still didn't work.

I was using TES Mod Manager For Oblivion. I auto sorted using Boss as a last resort. I also used both BOSS and LOOT. All of them posed problems. I've returned to using Oblivion Mod Manager Extended. I've had no problems with this.

Apart from load orders, there were problems with two installs. TES Mod Manager For Oblivion wouldn't install HUD Alive, even though Oblivion Mod Manager Extended has always installed this. There appeared to be a problem with missing OBSE, even though this is installed. Oblivion XP also posed problems. I installed both using Wrye Bash. Probably not wise under the circumstances.

I find load order managers throw up too many problems. What I usually do is move mods up and down the load order in OBMM Extended. I've never had any problems using this.

I also used Oblivion Load Order Manager. More problems. Oblivion steadfastly refused to start. I unstalled, reinstalled, deleted the Oblivion folder from My Games, and began again. Working perfectly as of last night- Sunday 8th June 2014. I'm reinstalling my OMODs using OBMM Extended. Think I'll give load order managers a miss till I know mmre about them.

Well....glad you got things working. Honestly never heard of those other utilities you mentioned, but have to admit I haven't looked at utilities for a very long time either. The only programs I've ever used are OBMM (not extended, didn't know there was an extended), Wrye Bash, and BOSS for sorting (last updated version is 2.30 before it was changed to LOOT). These were and still are the top 3 Mod Managing utilities for Oblivion. And they all work perfectly together. Never had any problems at all other than newer, unrecognized mods which can be submitted for addition to the BOSS masterlist directly from BOSS.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier than this. Everything is working well.

I sorted out the Wrye Bash problems. Used BOSS and BOSS User Masterlist. Both made mod installating much simpler. Thanks for your help mhahn123. Much appreciated.

HUD Status Bars and Oblivion XP have been corrected. Think there was a problen with HUD Alive.
