What Files Does The C.s. Use?

Hola y'all. 8)

I have a question hopefully someone will be able to answer...

What files does the construction set use? I've tried to figure out a way to see what files the CS installation .exe unzips, but I don't know how to view them, so I haven't succeeded in that endeavor. The reason I'm asking is because I would like to put the CS on my JumpDrive. I already have a complete copy of the Oblivion.esm on my JumpDrive, but when I tried using a copy-n-pasted-to-JumpDrive-CS.exe, it gave me errors up the kaboodle.

So I'm just wondering - what do I need to have on my jumpdrive in order for the CS to function? It's a 1 gig jumpdrive, so I can't install Oblivion ;D, but I'd be happy as hell to work on my .esp's while I'm away from my computer. :)

Anyone got any information on this that could help me? o_O

I was wondering this myself, I have a devbox I use for ingame modding. Much in the same respect as they did on the oblivion making of video. This box can't run oblivion very well so I just installed the CS, from what I gather it looks for registry entries, and BSA files. What I may do is make some false files, much in the same respect one would do for making a backup cd for cracking purposes. If that works I could have a 2KB file that says it takes up 2.3GB of space in a manner that the editor will allow it to load or simulate load from. Or maybe they will just patch it... I just know it hates looking for files across a network! Man does it hate doing that... Not sure it is entirely feasible just yet, if I do find it works I'll let you know.
