I purchased fallout 3 through steam on christmas and it just simply will not cooperate with me. ive tried downloading patches, save files, drivers, updates, and loads of other things. Ive also tried uninstalling norton internet sucurity and turning off my firewall. it is driving me insane. the error message and system info are posted below. If anyone has found a solution for this, please let me know. Thank you. by the way, ive also tried turning all settings to lowest resolution and loading loose files... nothing seems to work.

(i also have the same problem with assassins creed. no problems with left 4 dead 2, farcry 2, resident evil 5 or f.e.a.r. 2)

Is your video card really a mobile chipset? If it is then there is no way you would be able to run fallout. According to what im seeing everything is good but the video card. It says it only has 6mb of dedicated vram. Your computer wouldnt be able to run fallout 3 even on the minimum settings.

Before buying a game you should try

systemrequirementslab.com

that should give you some type of idea if you can run a game.
