Hair And Eye Mod - Only PC Char

Hey, I at the moment use 3 different color texture mods for hair and eyes. They are Chargen Package, CC Extra Tints and Pineapple Vibrant Colours. They all work really great, my character look really cool now..There is only one small problem: All the haircolors and eyecolours have changed for all the NPCS, this make them loose immersion for me..and the colors don't seem to match their personality for example.

 

My question is: Is there a way to make it so only your own character gets modified by the pretty eye and haircolors? Are there any mods for this? Anyone have a idea to solve this issue? :)

Yeah it was me, they said Vibrant colour mod have a way to make it so its only for your char at not NPC:s..can't seem to find how to do it thou :-(

I just downloaded the mod and your right it does affect other npcs but I don`t think it looks too bad.

You can easily make it so that your PC and only NPCs with the exact same eye color as your PC are changed.

 

You should have 2 eye folder files in Pineappletree's folder within the override folder. One folder is titled something like Vibrant Eyes and the other is something like Replacement eyes.

 

Replacement eyes is what is causing the change to the colors of existing NPCs.

 

Go into the Replacement eyes folder and delete all the files EXCEPT the one that your PC is using.

 

The files are titled:

t3_eye_ice

t3_eye_tea

t3_eye_gry

t3_eye_lbl

t3_eye_dbl

t3_eye_grn

t3_eye_amb

t3_eye_hzl

t3_eye_lbr

t3_eye_blk

 

If you don’t know which one your PC is using – just take them out one by one, start up the game until you figure it out. Some of them should be obvious. You could also review the pictures that were included in the .zip file to see which one the PC is using.

 

All the deleted colors will revert back to the original vanilla game colors. Only NPCs with the same eye color as your PC will have Pineappletree’s eye color.

 

Making only your PC have that color is much more involved, but should be possible by using mods or toolset to change the appearance of your PC, changing the file name of the eye color you want use to something unique and adding it to the chargenmorph file.
