rare ground cells?

EDIT: I reread the question and realized I was responding wrong. This is a common problem, but I don't remember what people do about it. Here are some things I dredged up:

Basically, the standard ground textures for a lot of types of ground seem to have been corrupted and replaced by some sort of weirdly-coloured map of the Imperial city, repeated a thousand times to cover all of the ground, even the sandy underwater stuff.

I figure it can probably be solved easily if someone is willing to throw uncorrupted versions of the textures my way, but otherwise I suppose I'll just have to reinstall everything.

Wow. Been a while since this forum seen a little.

Just looked through my Oblivion folder and can't find anything resembling ground textures. Do you know the names of the specific files you want?

Well, I found the file, and it's 1.13 gb large(There's just one massive archive for all of the textures.). I guess I have to reinstall, balls.

But thanks for looking.

My first guess would be that you have a mod/patch compatability problem.

Did you install the v1.2 patch that came out on Friday?

Are you running a mod designed for the v1.1 of the game after installing the patch?

Oh, yes, thanks for reminding me of that, now I know what the problem is. It's the v1.2 that screwed up my game, I tried to install it, it whined about not being able to, but aborted(Supposedly well before screwing with any files.), but I guess it wrecked some of my textures anyway.

Thanks.

My ground texture was replaced with a purple map of Cyrodiil. I suspect the culprit to be this mod: Sephs True Acrobatics. I've deleted every related file in my Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/Data folder, but the ground still displays a map of where I currently am.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I'm reinstalling Oblivion now.

EDIT No. 2: Reinstalling fixed the issue, feel free to lock this topic.
