My ragdoll is invisible?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I recently followed a nexus wiki tutorial on creating ragdolls for Oblivion in Blender but when I finished up and tested my mod out in Oblivion the entire object was invisible. The object "seems" to animate properly. I can see the object's name, grab it, and move it around but I just can't see it. I'm confused. Here is the tutorial I followed:

Followed by the export settings I used when exporting the NIF

and the ZIP file containing the .blend, exported NIF, DDS texture, and a screenshot showing the in-game results.

I wonder if it has something to do with the export settings used for Oblivion instead of Fallout 3 or the type of DDS texture I used?

Interestingly the model and texture were ripped from Resident Evil 1 but this is only for testing purposes and I wouldn't use someone else's content for an actual mod. Also, the texture has been stretched, brightened, and sharpened while the model had been made 3x larger and all parts joined into one. Just for fun, here's a view of the original model from Resident Evil modding community Leo2236's tool "EMDviewer". This is the program I extracted it with and turned it into an OBJ with a BMP texture.

I'm not the best to reply to this but since nobody else did:

Since you're learning about ragdolls and you're just testing things out I think you should create your own object and texture (nothing complicated ofcourse) and try again with those. If it works then you can continue with more complicated things,if it doesn't it'll be easier to figure out what went wrong.

I know this isn't much helpful but that's how I'm trying to do things otherwise I end up with a pile of possible causes and finding out the culprit becomes a headache.
