Sebenko Posted January 22, 2010 Share Posted January 22, 2010 I was thinking about making a mod to bring back damage threshold from FO1/2, but I need some questions answered before I can produce it. Here's the plan- -Use a script on the armour-Set a value for the damage threshold of certain resistance types- Normal DR threshold, energy threshold etc.-Get the damage received when attacked-Get the type of damage received-If the damage is below the value of the threshold for that resistance, cancel it out. For this to work, I need to know if a few things are possible- -Getting the damage and damage type for every attack-Whether the damage will be done before it is cancelled or after (To decide whether the damage must be healed after the attack, or can simply be ignored)-If the multipliers for difficulty are applied before or after the damage is decided-If running a script for every attack that hits is too intensive Have FOSE, if need be.
