Lost Painter Quest Help Needed

EDIT: Got the problem solved, had to do the following:

setstage 00017606 75
player.coc CheydinhalRythesHouse

Thankfully I got out of there. ^_^

/EDIT

Ok, 3rd time I do the painter quest. I enter the painted world, talk to him and then proceed to find the thief who stole the paintbrush.

Upon returning the brush to painter, he proceeds to try to paint the door, but it doesn't appear. Only the graphic effects happen but no door.

I can't get out, so neither can he.

And the worst bit: my only save file is inside the painted forest!

Anyone know which console command could spawn the door there so I and the painter could get out?

I'm aware of two things which can cause this quest to break consistantly.

First is a timescale setting lower than 25. This is because the script for this quest uses the SetPackageDuration function, which relates directly to how many minutes in the game world pass by. Since his painting idle only lasts about 20 seconds realtime maximum, if the scale is set too low, it breaks the quest.

Second is more of a result of the first, if the player talks to him when he starts painting, he will stop painting, and the quest is broken.

I've released a mod that affects this quest to work proportionately with timescale, and should prevent both these situations from happening.

If your problem isn't in relation to this, the best way to solve it would be to explain; what you've done in the game within the bounds of this quest, what mods you're using, and what setting changes you've made.

I had this problem once but it was not consistent. I reloaded the in painting saved game and approached him again and it all worked as it should. I wonder if he stopped painting the first time because I stood too close to him?
