Time delay explosives

I would absolutely love to have time delay explosives .....

Complete with a setup where you can choose and allocate your various explosives to different time delays.

Just the same as the grid where you hotkey your weapons to numbers.

Time delay nukes would be awesome .... you'd sneak in, plant the nukes then sneak out and wait for the enemy and

then BADABOOM ... then rush in and finish them off ....

 

This would be especially good when dealing with a large number Super Mutant Overlords and those new ghouls.

It's would also be a new tactical approach to the game .... I have the stealth suit, now I can make better use of it by

employing it in a new fighting style.

i remember from playing TimeSplitters Future Perfect with my friend, in some levels of the story you could find Time Disruptor Grenades, which caused to slow down the time massively within the range of explosion. but i don't know if the VATS slowmotion system can be altered to cause that effect in realtime play.

I like that idea a lot. The explosive entry mod already allows you to set a timer to blow open doors. It shouldn't be much more complicated to do it for certain explosives that you drop, such as mini-nukes.

Although they don't fully fit the req., have you checked these:

Animated Time Bomb

Robobomb.

 

If you're not satisfied with those, they could at least function as part of the solution for a modder that might be interested creating it.
