Wyre Bash Help

OK, so I'm using Wyre Bash to work FCOM. Well according to BOSS, everything is all good, but Wyre Bash is doing weird things to the mod titles.

Most are in black letters with a green square to the left. That seems fine.

Some titles are written in blue letters with a green square to the left.

Some titles are written in green letters with a green square to the left.

Some are written in black letters with a red highlight and a green square to the left.

Some are written in green letters with a red highlight and a green square to the left.

Some are written in black letters with a red square to the left.

Some are written in green letters with a red square to the left.

Some are written in green letters with a red highlight and a red square to the left.

 

What do all these different color codings mean? I should have all the mods installed properly. I'm using BOSS and BOSS says I'm not missing anything and the mods under WyreBash list all the required mods, and all those are checked. What's with this color coding?

You'll find all of that info in the Wrye Bash Info text. :whistling:

With Wrye Bash open look for the ? mark at the bottom of the window. Otherwise in the Mopy directory there's a Wrye Bash.html file with all the answers you need.

According to the site, Red: Some files in the package are missing from the data directory.

But that's umpossible! I haven't removed a single file from the installations. I've only deleted incompatible ESPs that BOSS told me to delete. But I haven't deleted any data files that could corrupt the packages. Could Wyre Bash be wrong somehow?

fcom is fairly difficult to install. Wrye Bash doesn't make mistakes like that. You should try to follow one of the many fcom installation guides out there and make sure you do it properly. Also make sure that you have all the required mods fcom is dependent upon. "Requires MMM 3.7, OOO 1.34" Make sure you have both these exact versions of the files.

Ack! Balls! Alright, this time I'm not starting a new game until I'm absolutely sure everything is perfect. I think I'm gonna have to reinstall the game though, and I'll put all my mods in the mod manager folder this time.

 

Will FCOM mods work out alright in the mod manager folder?

It might help to know what mods these are, and what your loading order is. (Right click on the header above all your mods in Wrye, select "List mods," and copy everything to here, including the mentions of "codebox.")
