chaoscontrol9
Allright I was thinking (And I'm obsessed with dragons, so bear with me here) about an idea for a new party member that I would like to see. Simply: A warrior, male or female, matters not to female, although female (With Hero Romance otion XD) would be nice, with dragon wings and glowing red symbols on the face, a la a color change in the tatoos. Backstory: Well, I was thinking that the warrior hails from Ferelden, before the last Blight, one of the best of His/Her time, the best in fact, but haughty and full of His/herself, so much so, that when the Archdemon finally fell, this Gray warden decided if Drinking darkspawn blood made them this strong, what would an archdemon's blood do? So, taking a vial, the Gray warden drank it in the dead of night, passing out almost instantly. Found in the morning, in a state of faux death, they held a funeral pyre for the Gray Warden, and then left the ashes' to their fate, but, of course, the gray warden awoke in the flames, and escaped before the fire could truly engulf him/her, not dead, but changed, with dragon wings. S/he hid in the mountains for the generations to come, and emerged now to aid in the slaying of the new blight Is this possible?
egaSbooN
good idea, finally a request for practical dragon content (sorry dog morph requesters) i mean, this IS supposed to be the "dragon age" right? (game definatly needs story timeline confirmation, needs prequels (plural) and a sequel, to be worthy of the name) i couldnt find a pic of this char with his wings but it depicts how the blood may have further affected the warden(sorry, but i feel simply sticking wings on your chars back is a bit cheesy) http://www.rpgamer.com/games/arc/arcps2/art/arcart_010.JPG the wings were the steriotypical "bat like" "demon wings" sprouting from just inside the shoulder blades. keep in mind that common depiction of dragonkin (in art, not game) females tend to have their wings sprouting from eitherthe middle of the back (at bottom of ribcage) or half again to be between bottom of ribs and the begining of the ladys rump (or simply put, a hands width above where stripper tattoos go)
chaoscontrol9
Yeah, I like that, too, especially the scaly bit :D Wait, is that the girl from Arc Arcadia? Oh, yes, and when not in battle the wings should wrap around and clasp in front, a la Gargoyles.

chaoscontrol9
I wonder if anyone is working on it, and just never said anything, or if I was just tossed to the side like Alistair after you make the mage AW.

DarkeWolf
Hmmm, I wish someone would say something XDDon't feel bad, a lot of the mod requests in this section dont get any replies. It's a really cool idea tho. But doing the whole romance bit would be very tedious. MUCH work there. Making a working model of it would be hard also, considering that its very difficult to import custom models into this particular game.very cool idea tho, wouldn't mind seeing it happen :)

DarkeWolf
The wings would cause issues. If you added it to the base model (human/elf/dwarf) they wouldnt show up when you put armor/clothes on, as those items actually Replace that particular body part. Otherwise you'd have to add them and their animations to each and every piece of armor that would/could be worn by the character.I remember a lot of wing mods back from the Morrowind/Oblivion days. I wish that such a thing were possible here, but it's not. At least not via the same method. Those two games used layer assignments. So that you've got a layer that says one spot is for clothes, another is for the chest piece, and then whatnot else. Unfortunately, Bioware didnt incorporate ANYTHING that complex into the graphics for DA :(Its still a cool idea. So I'm pretty much just trying to give you a bump ;)
