lilkiller10101
Hey guys, I tried my hand at modeling yesterday and made a nice model of a Barret M87. Unfortunately, I can't make it unfold for a UV map properly, and it just places a bunch of squares in the mapping area. That and I can't import images to use in render. I'm using Blender by the way. Any help is appreciated
Crimson Knight
Hey 10101 so select all vertex in edit mode model is purple now you must press U key while UV map editor is open and physically tell it to unwrap it comes up with weirdness if you do not. Oh I am assuming you have Seamed your model. Select vertex in a line or your edges and press Ctrl E and mark seam Hope this help I hate unwrapping too if you are a visual person like me Look up body paint or Zbrush you can texture 3d models and do it all visual like, it has been a gawd send for me Cheers lad
