Smosh
Well, just got off the phone with Bethesda ... I WANT A FREAKIN REACH AROUND!!! I was informed that because of my operating system now, they WON'T support the product. I guess I know how much more of my money THEY'LL get in the future... :wallbash: :starwars: Smosh, I do appreciate your input. This just so sucks. My system is to NEW????? That does suck! What happens if you right click on the exe and then properties/compatilbility mode and choose Windows XP? Reaching for straws here I know :(
LivinTarget
Same.. I'm starting to suspect the DX version. I was reading earlier somewhere on the Microcrap site that the DX 11 that Win 7 ships with does it's rendering in a different way. Unfortunately that's a little deep for me. Another culprit might be my sounds. I have heard of a couple people having problems with the sound.bsa. If this works like SoF2 did ( ) then as long as I keep the folder structure I should be able to place the contents of that file into the main folder. Trying that tonight.. I'll update as I learn. So, far I've pretty much tried everything I could. Keep the ideas coming though Smosh .. If I haven't tried it I will. ... LivinTarget
I just had a thought .. could a dual monitor system have any effect on the game? And if so anyone know how to disable that feature on an NVidia card for just during the time I'm gaming? I did notice last night that if I play windowed the crashes are less persistent. LivinTarget
 8) Finally ... I got ahold of a friend of mine at work with the game ..(we play alot on a couple other games) borrowed his disk .. when I did a comparison there were 2 corrupted files on my disk. Installed using his as a base .. everything wonderful. 1.7 works. But, they had to dodge it and come up with 300 excuses rather than accept that the disk might have been an issue. I think I can now officially say Beth has the absolute WORSE support in the industry. They have learned well from Microcrap.. Thanks again for all the help Smosh .. at least you was willing to try .. kinda amazes me though. All the guru's on this site and not one thought about a corrupt disk. Took a moron and a wild guess... :whistling:
