Instead of comparing mods of all one type in your poll, you have selected seemingly at random mods from a number of different types. That, combined with the fact that there are thousands of mods out there, almost guarantees you responses that make little sense. No offense meant.

 

If you want useful replies, narrow down to only one type of mod--like "new enemy adding mods," or "new leveling mods," or companion mods, or new battle mods, etc.

Really, Estrus? I mean I have no problem with those types of mods but putting it on a list of bests is like putting a mod that adds alien dung on a list of bests. I mean sure it's immersive but why is it alien dung? I mean sure sex happens, but why does it have to be so unimmersive and without any context. If it was something that existed under certain contexts I could see it being... possibly a "best". Like if it only happened rarely in the following circumstances:

hookers

couple at home in bed

at the end of a long romance questline

some of the cheaters having sex in a secluded area,

etc.

 

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the mod, but I get the feeling that the market that would label it best is limited, like if there was a lightsaber mod, or a gun mod... it's a fringe market that doesn't have anything to do with the original game world.

Rambling aside, you're missing some key mod types:

 

Quest mods

Specific gameplay mods (OOO and MMM are very broad)

utilities/bug fixes

Texture mods

etc.

 

Anyway, I'd have to go with Integration: The Stranded Light.

Actually all of these are awesome mods. Xenius is ok I didn't care for the races it added is all otherwise it was all good. Midas Magic is awesome and the OOO and the MMM are both pretty nifty. Estrus however get the winner in my opinion simply due to a few things. One is while it is a specilized mod made for adding an odd element of sex to the game it completely intergrates this with the surroundings. The people around notice it which is amazing really, and they react to it which causes some funny moments if you ask me. Also he had not only seamless or near seamless animations but also sound to go with them which seems synced perfectly the only way it could be better is if he actually had race specific voices though that would take forever and where would you find the people to do it? The models are actually pretty amazing and he had differnt animation depending on what your character is doing. Also the modder gets some kudos from me for making it AND putting it on the internet where often people lack any semblance of manners. The mod itself is odd and made for one reason but actually if you were making an adult mod storyline you could use something like this rather easily (with permission ofcourse) A dungeon run with monsters that had the ability to cause the estrus to happen as well as a fatigue or health drain if they caught you with it. Also you could use his scripting and modeling for examples for other things as well perhaps. Personally I'd love to see the creator make more indepth (and perhaps a tad bit less sexual, where as nice as it is to look at it, it does distract from gameplay) mod using the same kind of technique as this one. Kudos to the creator for being brave enough to load it to the internet and double kudos for being skilled enough to make it in the first place.
