So I finaly got a credit card and I want to become premium. So I fallow the steps and when I click "pay now" I get this message.

 

 

We were unable to verify your credit or debit card. To proceed with your purchase, please select a different payment method or add a different credit or debit card, then click Continue.

 

 

I have a VISA credit card and it should work, I mean I gived the correct card number and CSC and at my profile on paypal the card appears normaly.

 

The only problem I could think off it that I don't have USD on it, but my country money. COuld that be the problem? I thought that they will change my money into USD. I have more than enough.

 

 

 

Any ideas?

All gets to back to pounds, so you don't need any US-dollars..it's just the transfer rate. Maybe placing some credit on the paypal-account could work? I've done that and I've linked my bank-account to it. So even without credit on paypal, it would get it from my bank-account. (Although I wish I had visa, far more secure ;).)

And is the visa-card confirmed yet (for paypal)? You'll get or loose like 1 cent when they check your account.

You mean that after I give the proper information about my credit card, they will have to confirm it before I can make any transactions?

If so then I'll have to wait, becouse they did not sent me any notification or e-mail.

I can't tell, I don't use credit cards. You'd say they don't need a confirmation, but who knows ;D. But you could try to put up credit at paypal..maybe that'll help for the moment? You could at least check if it's possible to top-up your pay-pal acc.

I just checked, they've got to be confirmed. They'll remove a small amount from your credit card in a couple of days after the confirmation. You'll probably get an email of it when it has happened and you'll see it at the overview of the payments of the credit card. Paypap vs emails could take max a week....Look at help of paypal and search for confirmation or if it's in your language in that language, the details may differ per country. You'll need the code of that withdrawal to confirm the card at paypal, so keep a close eye on your credit card bill!

Thanks. It makes sense, becouse it's the first time ever I use this credit card online and it's quite new. I only have it for a week or so, I haven't used it much. I realy apreciate for taking your time to find that out for me, I'd show that apreciation somehow, but only one kudos per person allowed so I'll just have to say THANK YOU! :P

The (still :whistling: ) only secret premium feature I know of is the increased size of the PM-box. (500 instead of 50).

It's primarily focused on site features. If you worry about its use in general, I'd point you out that it's a paid host/server here and that advertisements aren't the only source of income that's needed to uphold this site ;). As I'm using this site (actively) for over 9 months now, it would be more than fair to return a bit. And it's more than fair that everyone is allowed to download every mod if they are registered, that explains its success.
